Farmstead Glamping

Located on the outskirts of Sturminster Newton near the Cranbourne Chase AONB, our 2 shepherd’s huts and tiny barn have been awarded a Visit England Gold rating for Green Tourism.

The Happy Hare and The Pleasant Pheasant are both fully-insulated shepherd’s huts with an outside wood-fired hot tub available for an additional charge. Sleeping 2, each has a king size bed, kitchenette and en suite room with gas-powered shower. A small bell tent can be hired alongside the huts to sleep accompanying children.

The Heron is a timber hut hidden behind the seasonal wildlife pond. Completely off-grid and sleeping 4 guests, there is a king size bedroom with patio doors to the decking, 2 single beds in the hayloft accessed by a ladder, an open fire, sofa, kitchenette, DVD projector, USB sockets, en suite shower room and a copper roll-top bath outside.

A welcome hamper is provided. All electricity is derived from solar energy. Dogs are accepted in The Pleasant Pheasant at any time of the year and in The Heron during the summer months.
