The Aboukir Hotel

The Aboukir Hotel, Restaurant and Bar in Carnoustie is a welcoming place to stay, within walking distance of the town centre and golf courses. Guests will find comfortable rooms, a beautiful garden and free car parking. The hotel is only 2 minutes’ walk to the railway station and the National Cycle Route 1 also passes through the town. Owners Phil, Marta and the staff team provide excellent hospitality.

The hotel has a selection of single, twin, double or family bedrooms sleeping up to 5 guests. Some rooms offer sea views. All are thoughtfully-decorated and furnished to a high standard; featuring en suite shower room facilities, a TV, DVD player, Wifi access and hospitality tray for making in-room tea and coffee. A tasty breakfast is served in the Curry Lounge Restaurant to help start the day.

Guests can also enjoy lunch and dinner, with all dishes on the menu freshly prepared using the best of locally-sourced produce where possible. Our well-stocked bar includes a selection of Scottish malt whiskies, flavoured gins, beers and cask ales, plus a range of champagne and sparkling wines, as well as red, white and rosé. There is regular entertainment in the bar area, including folk music nights.
