The Meadows is a caravan and campsite exclusively for adults in the Pentewan Valley, 3 miles south of St Austell and directly on the Pentewan Valley Trail that joins with the SW Coast Path. Open from the end of April to the end of September, this family-run holiday park has over 6-acres of camping grounds, meadows and woodland.
The sheltered camping field is bordered by a stream and tranquil woodland, welcoming caravans, campervans, tents and wild campers. Guests can choose whereabouts to camp and there is electric hook-up if required. Wifi is available and there are toilets and showers with disabled access. Well-behaved dogs are allowed.
The small on-site shop sells a few everyday essentials as well as genuine Cornish ice-cream! Barbeque hire can be arranged. Pentewan has a beach, pubs, cafés and surfing shops, with St Austell providing further amenities.
