MacDonald's Farm

MacDonald’s Farm is a fantastic choice for your next stay in Cornwall. A family-owned holiday site with far-reaching countryside views, the farm is near Porthcothan and 5 miles from Padstow, providing a superb base for visitors, with facilities including a playground, outdoor pool table and table tennis, plus there are lots of animals.

Accommodating tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, there are electric and non-electric pitches available. Visitors can also stay in our bell tents featuring a decking area with firepit, kitchen access and parking. Our 5m tent is especially designed for a romantic stay for couples. Our 6m tents sleep 5 people and are great for families.

All guests are welcome to use the modern amenities block with disabled access, the free Wifi, dog and surf board wash, shop selling everyday essentials and freezing facilities. There are also the 3 bed and breakfast rooms with stunning sea views, available for families of up to 4 guests. Well-behaved on-lead dogs are allowed on the site.

The farm has goats, alpacas, ponies, rabbits, ducks, geese, chickens and cockerels. Guests can help with feeding, plus we offer pony rides, Little Mac Animal Tours, farmer experiences, goat walking, petting and grooming sessions. Porthcothan Beach is a 10-minute walk and there is a handy bus stop to take you either way along the coast.
