Yoxall is a large rural village in Staffordshire on the banks of the River Swarbourn, on the A515 road north of Lichfield and south-west of Burton upon Trent. The village is on the edge of the National Forest. It is a popular village offering excellent amenities including shops, post office, newsagent / general store, St Peter’s Church and two popular pubs, both serving food. The busy village hall also offers a wide range of activities including craft fairs, harvest lunches and concerts. Yoxall Lodge Bluebell Woods is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours and The National Forest Way long-distance walking trail extending over 75 miles from the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire, passes through the village. Yoxall is well placed for access to nearby towns and cities via the A38 and the regional road network beyond.
