The Castle Inn is a welcoming bar and restaurant with guest rooms in the heart of the seaside town of Newport. Formerly called The Castle Hotel, it is a traditional Welsh stone building full of charm and character. Family friendly, we are close to the beach, shops and links golf course, plus many excellent walks along the coastal path.

We have 3 guest rooms available, all decorated to a high standard with en suite facilities, TV and hospitality tray. There is a family room for 4, an attic room for 4 and a romantic king size room for couples. We allow dogs in one of our rooms by prior arrangement. A delicious full Welsh Breakfast is included in our room rates and we can provide you with packed lunches if required.

Relax in one of our 2 bar lounges. One is a quieter lounge with roaring open fire, whereas the other is livelier with pool table, darts, juke box and live sports on the TV screens. We also have a great restaurant which serves many classic dishes, all freshly made using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
