Milford Haven is a seafaring town and port with a rich past of Navel dockyards, passenger liners, and a fishing fleet all in the towns history, which can be seen in the local Milford Haven Heritage and Maritime Museum, housed in one of the oldest buildings in the town; the old whale oil storage building built in 1797. The town is a favourite destination for sailing, with its pretty marina. Cafes, shops and restaurants line the marina area. Milford Haven also has a full range of shops, pubs and supermarkets in the town above the marina, and there is the Torch Theatre with a full programme of events. Kids will love Phoenix 10-pin bowling alley and there is an excellent golf course in the town for grown-ups. Enjoy the day on Sandy Haven beach, go fishing, sailing or diving, or get your walking boots on and take to the spectacular coastal path.
