High Mead

High Mead House Bed and Breakfast is located in the Dorset village of Crossways which is about 6 miles from the county town of Dorchester. A family-owned establishment, host Julia provides excellent service and hospitality. There is ample car parking and the railway station at Moreton is within walking distance.

All our rooms are equipped with a hairdryer and refreshment tray, with the option of staying in a single, double or family room, some of which have en suite facilities. There is also a comfortable guest lounge where you can warm in front of the open fire in the winter, and a garden where you can sit out and enjoy summer sunshine.

A delicious full Dorset breakfast is served in the morning to ensure you have a good start to the day. Made with locally-produced ingredients, special diets can also be catered for with prior notice. There are many activities to try locally from golfing to dry slope skiing, with a friendly village pub offering food and drink a short walk away.
