Monkton Wyld Court

Monkton Wyld Court offers a peaceful and relaxing countryside retreat 2 miles north-west of Charmouth. Nestled in 11 acres of woodlands and gardens, this former mid-19th century rectory today offers bed and breakfast rooms, hostel rooms, camping and sustainable living workshops.

The bed and breakfast rooms are situated in the main house, full of character, with neo gothic architectural features. There are double, twin and family rooms for up to 6 people, all with shared bathrooms. A buffet breakfast is served in our stunning dining room. The food is made from wholesome vegetarian ingredients including slow cooked porridge and eggs from our own hens. Evening meals and lunches can also be provided with prior arrangement. Our hostel rooms consist of dormitories or bedrooms for up to 6 people.

All guests can relax in the Piano Room or explore the grounds. There is ample car parking and walkers and cyclists are also welcome. The whole venue can be exclusively hired for groups, special events or school trips. We also provide a variety of activities and workshops throughout the year. Please see our website for more details.
