Highcross Camping Coach & Living Van

For a holiday home with a difference, come and stay at High Cross Camping Coach and Living Van in the middle of the Dorset countryside near Netherbury. A unique glamping experience in 2 carefully restored Victorian railway carriages surrounded by scenic views of open fields and countryside; they provide a perfect escape.

The Camping Coach is over 100 years old and travelled along the London and Brighton Steam Railway. The elegant living and sleeping area has retained its brass luggage racks that provide storage areas. The seat folds down to form a double bed and there is a log burning stove. There is also a small kitchen, dining table and shower room with hot water and flushable WC.

Guests can also hire The Living Van alongside the Camping Coach which is a workmen’s carriage dating back to 1906. Providing an additional living space it can also be converted into 2 twin beds at night. There is also our Dining Carriage on site which has been renovated from a 19th century First Class Family Saloon which now offers the perfect venue for private dining or parties.
