Fairstowe

Fairstowe Bed and Breakfast is an elegant Edwardian country house in the beautiful East Sussex town of Crowborough, about a mile from the town centre. The house is nestled in a peaceful semi-rural location, with 3 acres of well-maintained grounds, an outdoor swimming pool and car parking on a gated driveway. Owners Jim and Bridget offer a warm welcome and excellent hospitality.

There are 2 double rooms with garden views. Both have a sumptuous king size bed, luxurious en suite bathroom with underfloor heating and power shower, as well as a TV, free Wifi, bathrobes and a hospitality tray with snacks. In the morning, a range of delicious breakfast choices are available, including a cooked Full English. Special diets are happily accommodated.

On the edge of the Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie the Pooh, the area is popular with outdoors enthusiasts. A variety of eating places can be recommended and the B & B is only 7 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells. Local attractions include Groombridge Place, Penshurst Place, Hever Castle, Standen, Batemans, Chartwell and Glyndebourne. There are also beautiful gardens to explore including Pashley Manor, Sheffield Park and Scotney Castle.
