1 Rodmell House, on the ground floor of a handsome converted granary, offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation, next to the old forge in the centre of the attractive East Sussex village of Rodmell. The rooms are ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone looking for great accommodation in the beautiful Ouse valley. Muddy boots and dogs are welcome!

Entry is via owner Lorna's garden patio around to the rear of the house. The rooms include a comfy bed, Wifi and there is plenty of hot water. There's a feast of a breakfast to look forward to in the morning. Various diets can be catered for and packed lunches offered, but please mention your needs when booking. Towels, toiletries and tea-making facilities are provided.

Good food and ale is available in the Abergavenny Arms pub opposite. With Virginia Woolf's House and Garden in the village, a host of interesting walks locally, historic Lewes, Charleston and Newhaven with its ferry link to France nearby and Brighton a short train ride away, you may want to stay for longer!
