Granary Cottages

Granary Cottages comprise 3 holiday properties located in the heart of the Sussex countryside within sight of the South Downs, near to the village of Chiddingly. The cottages are contained within the original old granary building on Holdens Farm and have been awarded a Visit England 4-Star Gold Award for self-catering accommodation.

Barley Cottage, the largest of the cottages, has 2 en-suite bedrooms; a double and a twin, comfortably sleeping 4 people. Wheat Cottage has 1 bedroom and is ideal for 2 people, with a bedroom that can be set up as a king size or with twin beds. Oat Cottage comfortably sleeps 3 to 4 adults; with double and single en suite bedrooms. Each cottage retains the original charm of the old granary, yet is fitted with quality modern fittings throughout.

The small village of Chiddingly has a church, village hall and pub. Chiddingly Festival each year is a feast of the arts, with music, dance, beer, sculpture, comedy, graphic arts, theatre, story-telling and poetry for all ages. The nearest shopping centre is at Hailsham, 5 miles away. The county town of Lewes lies about 8 miles to the west and Eastbourne is about 10 miles south.
