The Barn @ The Old Bakery

The Barn at The Old Bakery is a beautifully converted stone barn offering self-catering accommodation in the picturesque village of Youlgreave in the Peak District National Park. Popular with outdoors enthusiasts for its proximity to the River Bradford, Limestone Way and Monsal Trail, owners Ken and Carol will ensure you receive a warm welcome.

Sleeping 2 to 4, the whole accommodation spans the top floor of the barn, with vaulted ceilings, exposed stone work and external stone steps still evident. Decorated to a high standard, the living area has a sofa bed, chairs, dining table and fully equipped kitchenette with washing machine and electric cooker. There is also a double bedroom and a family sized bathroom. Outside, there is a private balcony with bistro set.

A welcome pack of milk, wine and biscuits will help you settle in. There are 3 local pubs in the village if you want to eat out and sample some real ales. The village shop and tea rooms are just next door. The Chatsworth Estate is a short drive away, and trying some famous pudding at Bakewell is a must!
