Sheepwash Cottage

Sheepwash Cottage is a traditional stone cottage providing self-catering accommodation for 6 guests, situated on the edge of Carsington village. Located in the Derbyshire Dales close to Carsington Water and the High Peak Trail, this cottage is ideal for guests who enjoy the outdoors.

The cottage has a comfortable lounge with sofas, a TV and DVD player; a smaller games and TV room; contemporary kitchen with dining area; family-sized bathroom, master double en suite bedroom, another double bedroom and a twin room. Outside, there is a patio area, barbeque, lawned garden and off-road car parking.

Guests will find The Miner’s Arms pub just 200 metres away which serves food and local ales. The cottage is just metres away from Carsington Water’s circular walk and cycle path and is 2 miles from the Visitor Centre, where bikes, canoes, kayaks and windsurfing equipment can be hired and kids can enjoy the large play area.
