Sheldon House

Sheldon House is an 18th century home offering bed and breakfast accommodation and a self-catering barn in the Peak District village of Monyash. Surrounded by stunning scenery, with the Limestone Way and Peak Pilgrimage long distance footpath passing close by, we provide a haven for walkers and cyclists. Owners Caroline and Mike will ensure you receive a warm welcome and great hospitality.

The guest bedrooms are located in the main house that was once the pay office for the nearby Magpie Lead Mine. There are 4 guest rooms including doubles, a twin and a single room equipped with en suite showers, a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray with Fairtrade products. There is a drying room and secure storage for bicycles. A hearty breakfast is included and we can provide packed lunches or evening meals.

Our barn offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. Guests will find a living / dining room with TV, Blu-ray player and Wifi; a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher; a double and a twin bedroom and a bathroom. A welcome pack of home produced treats will help you to settle in. There is car parking and we are happy to provide information about the area or suggest cycle or walking routes to follow.
