Mercaston Hall

Mercaston Hall near Ashbourne is a Grade II listed timber-framed farmhouse surrounded by open countryside on the edge of the Peak District, offering AA 4-Star rated B & B accommodation with undercover car parking, a tennis court, stabling and grazing for horses. Dogs are also welcome. Owners Angus and Vicki offer a warm welcome.

Inside, the original architecture is evident throughout the building. We have 2 guest rooms both with exposed wooden beams, equipped with double or twin beds, en suite facilities, TV, fridge and beverage tray. There is also a lounge with comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove in the large feature inglenook fireplace. A cooked farmhouse breakfast uses the best of local produce including our own farm sausages, bacon and eggs.

B & B guests are very welcome to explore the grounds with its summer house and lake or meet our resident animals in the surrounding fields. Children often enjoy collecting up the eggs! Our Milking Parlour offers a great venue for weddings, private parties or business meetings and we can arrange to have a marquee in the grounds for larger events.
