Strathassynt Cottage

Strathassynt Cottage is a beautiful 2-bedroomed self-catering holiday home in the village of Ballachulish on the banks of Loch Leven. Situated less than a mile from Glencoe, this accommodation is perfect as a base to explore the West Highlands, with its spectacular mountains, lochs, glens, castles and whisky distilleries. The cottage is family and pet-friendly. Friendly owners Neil and Katya live next door and offer a warm welcome!

The lounge features reclining sofas and chairs, a real fire, television with Sky channels and a DVD player. There is also a well-equipped dining kitchen, as well as double and twin en suite bedrooms, with space for an extra bed or cot (which can be provided). Highchairs and listening devices are also available. The cottage has Wifi, central heating, a DVD library, games and visitor information. There is also a drying room and a bicycle shed.

Guests will find a bar and restaurant opposite the cottage and many more in the surrounding area. There is also a small supermarket a minute’s walk away. Ballachulish is a haven for outdoors enthusiasts, with an abundance of activities available including mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, golf and skiing, as well as miles of mountain and forest tracks for walking and cycling.
