Thaxted Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to Thaxted Bed and Breakfast, situated on a former farm in the pretty Essex village of Thaxted. Ideal for business and leisure guests, this B & B is convenient for Saffron Walden, Great Dunmow and Stansted Airport. We can offer free parking if you are flying out from Stansted.

Our accommodation is housed in converted stables with their own front doors offering privacy and the flexibility to come and go as you please. Surrounded by open countryside with views across to a church and windmill, the suites provide a peaceful place to stay.

Each suite has a private sitting room with leather sofa, TV, dining table, fridge, microwave, toaster and beverage tray; a bedroom with hairdryer and clock radio and en suite shower room. There are double, twin and family suites including one on ground floor level with access for wheelchairs / guests with limited mobility.

A self-service continental breakfast will be available in your suite in the morning. There is also a shared conservatory, over 2 acres of meadows to explore and parking. Thaxted is steeped in history with its magnificent 14th century church, medieval Guildhouse and windmill museum.
