Greenlands Barn

Greenland Barn is a beautifully presented barn conversion offering a self-catering holiday home in a rural setting outside Colchester. Dating back to the 18th century and surrounded by well-maintained gardens, fields and woodlands, it is a perfect base for walkers, cyclists and sightseeing in the area. The Barn has been awarded a Visit England 4-Star Gold rating and ROSE Award.

Perfect for couples, there is a stunning open plan living area with high vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden beams featuring comfortable seating, forge style fire, Freeview TV, free Wifi and a dining area. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine; and there is also a bedroom with double bed and shower room.

Guests can sit out in the garden, soak up the atmosphere and explore the grounds as you please. There is a pub, shop and post office 2 miles away in the village of Chappel. Owners Carol and David will be on hand during your stay and will ensure you have a welcome pack of groceries to help you settle in and can arrange to do a shop before you arrive if required.
