Rye Farm B&B

Rye Farm Bed and Breakfast, also with self-catering accommodation is family-owned by Virginia and Peter who would like to welcome you to their working farm, just 4 miles south of Colchester. Nestled in a rural setting next to Abberton Reservoir, this is peaceful and scenic place to relax and unwind, ideal for walkers, cyclists and outdoors enthusiasts.

Our bed and breakfast rooms are located in the main farmhouse. There are 3 rooms, all furnished to make you feel at home, with en suite facilities, a double bed, free Wifi, TV, DVD player, hairdryer, fridge and hospitality tray for making hot drinks. A delicious full Farmhouse breakfast is included in our tariffs so you can have a great start to the day.

Our 4 apartments are all beautifully refurbished farm buildings. The Courtyard sleeps 4 and has disabled access to the ground floor, a downstairs en suite twin room and another en suite twin room upstairs. Cart Lodge is a ground floor apartment for couples with disabled access and a wet room. Pond View is a ground floor apartment for 2 with twin room. The Granary sleeps 2 to 4 guests, with a king size and a single bedroom with chair bed.
