Church Hill House

Owners Richard and Susan would like to welcome you to Church Hill House; their delightful bed and breakfast on the Essex / Suffolk border. This 500-year-old home dates back to Tudor times and is located in the quintessential English village of Wethersfield, overlooking the green.

There are 2 beautiful guest rooms. The Oak Suite is a romantic room with vaulted beamed ceilings, a king size 4-poster bed and en suite bathroom. The Tudor Suite has an antique French double bed, en suite bathroom with a roll top bath and an adjoining single bedroom. Both suites are equipped with free Wifi, Freeview TV, mini fridge and beverage tray.

Guests can also relax in the lounge with its wood burning stove, or out in the garden. A full English cooked breakfast is served in our dining room or ‘al fresco’ in the summer. Special diets are accommodated and Richard and Susan will happily recommend local attractions and places to eat.
