Caldertop Cottage

Caldertop Cottage is a family and dog-friendly place to stay in the beautiful Calder Vale on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with stunning views across the surrounding countryside, yet only 14 miles north of Preston. Situated on a working farm, the cottage is a former farm worker’s home attached to the main farmhouse sleeping up to 5 guests.

The cottage is warm and cosy, with a comfortable lounge with 3 piece suite, an open fire and a Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you will need for a self-catering holiday and includes a dining table / chairs and washing machine. There are 2 doubles, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. Outside there is car parking, a lawned garden, many lovely walks around the farm and a cafe close by.

There is fishing along the local river and the town of Garstang is 7 miles away where you can find many independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Your host Emma will ensure a warm welcome on your arrival at Caldertop Cottage and is happy to offer suggestions about local activities and attractions in the area.
