Tewitfield Marina

Tewitfield Marina along the Lancaster Canal has a selection of superb waterside apartments offering stylish self-catering accommodation near the town of Carnforth. There is a farm shop and inn also on-site. The marina lies within easy access to the Lake District National Park, Forest of Bowland AONB and the Yorkshire Dales.

The marina’s self-catering accommodation is open all year, including Christmas and New Year. We also specialise in group bookings and corporate visits. There are 1-bedroomed apartments sleeping 2 guests, 2-bedroomed apartments for 4 and 3-bedroomed apartments for 6 people; as well as ground floor apartments, those which open out onto the marina or which have private balconies as preferred. All apartments are fully furnished with open plan living areas and fully fitted kitchens, Wifi and car parking. Dogs are allowed and we provide a welcome pack for any canine visitors including dog beds, bowls and drying cloths. There is also a dog wash outside.

The Longlands Hotel is a friendly country pub offering great food and fine beverages on the marina. Greenland Farm Village Shop sells a variety of locally produced foods and craft items, with a café serving homemade treats. There is plenty of cycling and walking along the tow path, with many opportunities nearby for fishing.
