Brackenthwaite Cottages

Hidden in the beautiful countryside of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are Brackenthwaite Cottages, on a family-owned farm near Carnforth. Set around a courtyard, our cottages have all the amenities for a self-catering stay, with charming original 17th century architecture providing charm and character.

There are 2 adjacent open plan cottages, Coach House 1 and 2; the first can sleep up to 6 guests and the second up to 4. These can be booked together for groups of 10. In addition, The Old Farm House sleeps 6, with a large king size bedroom and 2 twin rooms; and the Keeper’s Lodge for 4 with a double and a twin room.

Our 4 cottages are equipped with Wifi, Sky TV, DVD players and outdoor seating areas. There are communal laundry facilities and ample car parking. Dogs are allowed in designated cottages and we have stables for visiting horses. In an area perfect for nature watching, walking and cycling, you can also enjoy fishing, horse riding and water sports.
