Calcutts House is a beautiful 18th century house offering 4-Star bed and breakfast accommodation in the riverside village of Jackfield, in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge; the birth place of the Industrial Revolution. A former Ironmaster’s residence, the B & B is conveniently located near the many museums and the Severn Way path for walkers.
Named after famous people from the industrial revolution, each of our guest bedrooms offers its own character and style. For example, Lord Dundonald Room has a mahogany 4-poster bed. William Hazledean boasts a mid-19th century French-style double bed and our Thomas Telford Room has twin beds and is located the converted Coach House. Please see our website for photographs and a full description of all our rooms. The guest bedrooms all have en suite facilities with Wifi, TV and hospitality tray.
Calcutts has a comfortable guest lounge. A delicious cooked breakfast is included and served in our beautiful dining room in the morning. Special diets are happily accommodated. You are welcome to leave your car in our car park during the day whilst visiting the sights or when trying out the local pubs and restaurants. Owners James and Sarah look forward to seeing you soon!
