The Old Hand & Diamond Inn

Welcome to The Old Hand and Diamond Inn, a truly authentic 17th century inn offering accommodation in the village of Coedway near Shrewsbury. Family-owned, visitors will discover friendly staff, a well-stocked bar with local ales, a menu of home cooked food and comfortable en suite guest rooms.

The bar and restaurant features characterful beamed ceilings, stone walls and inglenook fireplaces. You can enjoy a choice of homemade dishes from a seasonal menu that uses the best of locally-produced ingredients, including game from a nearby country estate in winter. Our bar has an excellent selection of real ales, spirits, fine wines and soft drinks.

There are 7 bedrooms which also have beautiful exposed wooden beams and come equipped with en suite facilities. The single, double, twin and family rooms also feature central heating, a TV, radio alarm clock, refreshment tray and we can also provide hairdryers, an iron or travel cots if required. A tasty breakfast is included to help you start your day.
