Darwin's Townhouse

Darwin’s Townhouse is a family-owned boutique bed and breakfast offering luxurious accommodation in Shrewsbury. A Grade II listed 18th century building located in the historic streets of the old town, this B & B offers beautifully-decorated and furnished bedrooms, a licensed guest lounge and a tasty breakfast. Darwin’s Townhouse boasts a prestigious AA 5-Star rating.

The guest rooms span across 3 floors in the main house and across the garden in the Garden Suite. All are decorated with furnishings and pictures to reflect Charles Darwin’s work. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, free Wifi, TV, iPod dock, dressing gowns and a hospitality tray. There are single, double, twin and Superior Rooms with one of the Garden Rooms adapted for wheelchair users. You can also relax in our garden, Octagon Lounge or Snug Room.

A delicious breakfast will be served in the morning, cooked using a range of the best, locally-produced ingredients.
