Griffin Inn

The Griffin Inn is a characterful Grade II listed building in the heart of the market town of Oswestry. Dating back to the 17th century, the inn is full of rustic charm, with beautiful exposed wooden beams and oak floors still remaining. The Griffin has a well-stocked bar with local real ales, great home-cooked fare and comfortable guest rooms.

Stay in our double, twin or family rooms which are all well-furnished and include a TV and hospitality tray. There is a modern shared bathroom. Although we don’t offer breakfasts, there are plenty of coffee shops, bistros and cafes nearby. You can enjoy a delicious lunch or evening meal from our own menu later in the day, with a range of pub classics including burgers, grills and traditional fish and chips with delicious puddings for dessert. We also have a children’s menu and options for vegetarians. The Griffin has regular live entertainment throughout the year, so look out for what’s on offer.
