The Talbot Inn

The Talbot Inn is a welcoming pub with guest rooms located in the town centre of Much Wenlock. The former home of William Penny Brookes, the founder of the modern Olympic movement, is just a few doors away in the town. The Inn is a place where you can enjoy great food, a traditional pub with local ales, as well as bed and breakfast facilities.

Our guest rooms are all located in the 18th century malthouse which is accessed through an attractive archway and overlooks the courtyard. The rooms have comfortable double or twin beds, en suite bathrooms, a Freeview TV, hairdryer and refreshment tray for making hot drinks. A full English breakfast is included to help you start the day.

The Talbot offers a range of tasty various classic pub meals and delicious puddings for lunch and dinner. We have a variety of vegetarian dishes and can provide gluten-free alternatives. There is free guest car parking, with regular local buses to Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth located nearby.
