The Charlton Arms

The Charlton Arms is a riverside inn nestled in the historic Shropshire town of Ludlow. Located on the famous Ludford Bridge, just a short walk from the town centre, there are 2 outside decking areas nestled on the water’s edge. A family-run and family-friendly pub, we serve local ales, great homecooked food and have a range of guest rooms available.

Our 12 rooms are all decorated to a high standard, offering en suite facilities, double beds and hospitality trays. There are 2 rooms offering uninterrupted views across the river and our beautiful Othello Suite has a private riverside terrace and hot tub! A delicious breakfast includes options such as a full-cooked English or smoked salmon.

The bar offers a wide range of drinks which you can enjoy either inside or outside. The food includes classic dishes including sumptuous burgers, duck breast, battered haddock, confit pork belly, ribeye steak, Cornish sea bass and much more!
