The Squire Farm Holiday Cottages

Squire Farm Holiday Cottages are 2 self-catering holiday properties located on a working farm near Chapel Lawn in rural Shropshire. Mentioned in Sawday’s Special Places to Visit, the cottages are located at the bottom of an ancient hill fort, with scenic views across the Redlake Valley. You can choose to stay in our traditionally-furnished Squire Cottage or our oriental-inspired Xidong Cottage.

Squire Cottage is a stone and timber 2-bedroomed farmhouse catering for 4 guests. Full of charm and character, featuring rustic inglenook fireplaces, an old bread oven, beamed ceilings and stone walls, there are also beautiful vaulted ceilings. The bedrooms comprise a twin and a double room. Xidong, meaning Rising Sun in Chinese, provides a romantic, peaceful cottage retreat for 2 guests. There is a large open plan living area decorated with natural wood and Japanese furnishings, which opens out to the decking area outside with its luxurious private hot tub. There is a double bedroom in the mezzanine area accessed by a stone stairwell. Both cottages are equipped with Wifi and central heating and have fully-equipped kitchens.
