The Dolaucothi Arms

The Dolaucothi Arms is an award-winning pub, originally dating from the 16th century, offering a restaurant, well-stocked bar and comfortable accommodation in the village of Pumsaint. Winner of the BBC ‘Countryfile Pub of the Year’ and listed in the Michelin Guide 2019, guests always experience a warm welcome and excellent hospitality and facilities.

There are 3 well-appointed, luxurious guest bedrooms with scenic valley views and featuring en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, king sized beds, a digital TV and refreshment tray with a decanter of port. Dogs are allowed in one of our guest rooms. Our cooked Welsh breakfast includes locally produced sausages, cockles and lava bread.

The bar has locally-produced ciders, ales and wines and a variety of gins. We serve home-cooked food in our Riviera Restaurant, with a range of classic dishes and options for vegan and vegetarians. There is a beautiful beer garden, as well as ample car parking. Guests will also find regular local buses to and from Lampeter from the village. The Dolaucothi Arms can offer special rates for longer stays or for ‘dinner, bed and breakfast’.
