Dalesgate Lodge

Dalesgate Lodge is a Victorian building and dates back to 1885 and lies a 2-minute walk from both Skipton Castle and the Holy Trinity Church in the town centre, and 7 miles from Bolton Abbey. We offer a warm welcome, a hearty traditional Dales breakfast and a comfortable bed at the end of a busy day.

There is a home from home atmosphere throughout and the rooms reflect the Victorian period with high ceilings and spacious airy rooms. All our rooms are en-suite with flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It is only a five minute stroll from the Town Centre where there is an abundance of shops, restaurants and public houses.

It is an immensely popular base for people wishing to visit the surrounding area. This includes the Lake District and the Dales where the village of Cracoe can be found which is home to the famous Calendar Girls. Skipton also holds a busy street market every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, which is situated on both sides of the High Street on the attractive cobbled setts. Aireville Park which is a two minute walk from Dalesgate Lodge offers peaceful walks, a Pitch & Putt Course, an indoor heated swimming pool and hard tennis courts. Private parking is available.
