The Close B&B

The Close Bed and Breakfast is a friendly place to stay in the beautiful Cotswold market town of Minchinhampton. This former 18th century townhouse has marble fireplaces, decorative cornices and a beautiful oak staircase, coupled with contemporary comforts including Wifi. Rated with a 4-Star Gold Award and Breakfast Award by Visit England and mentioned in Sawday’s Special Places, owner Karen will ensure you have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We have 3 bedrooms, all decorated to a high standard and immaculately presented. The Red Bedroom is a spacious double en suite room with a seating area and The Green Bedroom is a twin en suite room with seats in the Georgian window. The Turquoise Suite has a double bedroom, private sitting room and en suite bathroom. Guests are also welcome to relax in the guest lounge and enjoy some tea and homemade cake, or stroll in our extensive gardens.

After a sound night’s sleep, choose from a delicious range of options at breakfast including a full cooked English, Eggs Benedict or smoked salmon. We also cater for special diets. All our ingredients are fresh and sourced from the best local suppliers. There is on-site car parking at The Close and this B & B is the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and is close to attractions including Highgrove Gardens, Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury, Badminton and Gatcombe.
