Clennell Hall is a beautiful country house situated in the Coquet Valley, nestling in the valley of the river Alwin in the Northumberland National Park.

Each of our 10 rooms are equipped with en suite facilities, television and hospitality tray, with an inclusive breakfast to start your day. Guests on a budget or walking and cycling groups may choose to stay in one of the 2 bunk rooms, featuring 7 and 5 beds with shared shower and toilet facilities, plus the option of having one of our delicious breakfasts in the morning.

You can expect a warm welcome at Rocky's Bar, the heart of Clennell Hall Country House. Whether sitting by the fire with a quiet drink or enjoying one of the many evenings of live entertainment, this warm and fun atmosphere, makes Rocky's Bar the perfect place to sit and relax or to meet friends and family for a fun night out!

A great base for exploring the Northumberland countryside and an ideal venue for rallies and private events, we welcome many outdoor enthusiasts and travellers looking for a special holiday break. With plenty of car parking, bicycle storage, e-bike charging points and a laundry service available, Clennell Hall is ideally located for walking opportunities in the Cheviot hills and accessing the National Cycle Network Route 68 and the Sandstone Way.

Clennell Hall dates from the 13th Century and retains many of its original architectural features. With its ornate ceilings, panelled walls, mullioned windows and rich furnishings, along with our extensive gardens we strive to deliver a memorable country house hotel experience to all of our guests.
