Centre of Britain Hotel and Restaurant

The Centre of Britain Hotel and Restaurant in Haltwhistle is steeped in history, as the oldest building in the town. The oldest part was used as a Pele Tower and dates back to the 15th century. Today, our guests enjoy elegant guest rooms and fine food.

We have 12 guest rooms located either in the main house or in our converted stables and dairy. Each has its own private bathroom, TV, direct dial telephone, safe, hairdryer and refreshment tray. There are double, twin and family rooms, some of which allow dogs. Car parking is available.

A delicious breakfast is included in our room rates and we have short break offers which include an evening meal as well. Our restaurant serves an extensive menu of dishes and afternoon tea is available. Parties, functions and business events can be accommodated.
