Stanegate Cottage

Stanegate Cottage is nestled in the pretty village of Greenhead, within Hadrian’s Wall country. This 250-year-old former cow byre has been elegantly restored to provide self-catering accommodation for up to 4 guests and is surrounded by open countryside. Dogs are welcome.

The living room provides a wood burning stove to warm your toes and there is a Smart TV, DVD player, Wifi and Bluetooth radio to provide entertainment. French doors lead to the patio area. The kitchen is fully-equipped and there is a handy washing machine. Guests will also find a king-sized and a twin bedroom. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle.

Outside, you can sit on the patio and look across the golf course to the beautiful countryside. There is a chiminea for cooler evenings, a lockable shed for bicycles and equipment, plus off-road car parking. The Roman Army Museum is close by and there are plenty of places to go walking, cycling or fishing.
