Brickyard Cottage

Brickyard Cottage is a cosy adults-only self-catering cottage on a farm near the village of Wressle. Surrounded by 22 acres of open meadows and woodland, the area is peaceful and provides a relaxing setting. Sensitively converted from a former stable block, this cottage is full of charm, with exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings.

Spanning the ground floor, Brickyard is equipped with a mix of antique and modern furniture with a spacious living area featuring Persian rugs, a 2-piece suite, electric fire, TV and dining table. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a washer/ dryer and dishwasher. You will also find a king sized bedroom looking out to the garden and a bathroom with a slipper bath and separate shower. Brickyard Cottage also has a private garden with a terrace and a car parking space.

The farm is within walking distance of the fascinating standard gauge East Wressle and Brind Railway which you can visit with prior permission from the owners. Howden is a short drive away, with its fine Georgian architecture, independent shops, historic coaching inns and charming tea rooms, as well as a small market which takes place each Friday.
