Meg's and Nellie's

Meg’s and Nellie’s are 2 beautifully-refurbished farm cottages providing self-catering holiday homes at Fireburn Mill near Coldstream. Surrounded by the tranquillity of open countryside with the River Tweed flowing past, owner Sheila has been welcoming guests for over 30 years and will be on hand to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

Both cottages are 3-Star rated by Visit Scotland and can accommodate up to 6 guests, with comfortable lounges, Smart TV / DVD player and dining table. The kitchens are equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washer/dryer; plus there is a family-sized bathroom. Meg’s has a double bedroom on the ground floor and a twin bedroom and double bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs, whereas Nellie’s has a double bedroom downstairs and 2 twin rooms upstairs, and bathroom downstairs.

There is on-site parking for both cottages and we welcome cyclists. Golf courses and many fishing sites are within easy travelling distance. Coldstream the birthplace of the Coldsteam Guards, formed in 1660 and has local shops, or you can venture to the historic town of Kelso 7 miles away. The coast is also within easy reach at Berwick-upon-Tweed in the county of Northumberland, just over the border.
