Skeldale House

Skeldale House is a unique Victorian three-storey building offering boutique styled B&B situated in the beautiful quaint village of Askrigg, which itself is surrounded by the outstanding, breathtaking scenery of Wensleydale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The building itself is very famous and is known the world over as the frontage used for the vets practise in the filming of All Creatures Great and Small. It has undergone a full sympathetic restoration program and many original features remain. Each of our individual and stylish rooms offer luxury accommodation, antique furniture is mixed with modern features including king sized beds large flat screen televisions and top of the range white Egyptian cotton bedding. The rooms are spacious and contain lounge areas where you can relax and take in the wonderful surrounding views.

Askrigg is a very picturesque village, full of rustic charm with its cobbled streets, beautiful church, ancient market cross scattering of shops and three wonderful pubs all serving excellent food. It nestles in the valley between two stunning moors and is a real gem where you will start to relax and unwind as soon as you arrive. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone who enjoys the wonderful fresh air and outdoors.
