Prince Hall Country House

Amidst the landscape of Dartmoor National Park and overlooking the West Dart River, you will find Prince Hall Country House, dating back to the 1400s. This hotel offers a restaurant, bar and 9 en suite bedrooms. We are dog-friendly and offer a range of facilities to make your canine companion as comfortable as possible! Prince Hall can also be hired for special events, parties and weddings.

There are 9 en suite bedrooms with breakfast included. Yestor, Haytor, Houndtor, Brentor and Saddletor are super-king-sized rooms, Burrator is a 4-Poster super-king, Crockentor and Toptor are doubles and Sharpitor is for single occupancy. Guests will find black-out curtains, climate control, a television, tea and coffee-maker and complimentary toiletries. Cots are available. For the ultimate in relaxation; massage, beauty therapies and reflexology therapies can be offered in your room.

In our Restaurant we serve locally-sourced seasonal dishes on our menu. We are open throughout the day, including for a sumptuous Afternoon Cream Tea. In the colder months, roaring fires help to create a lovely cosy atmosphere throughout the different lounges, where you will find Wifi connection. In summer, guests can relax outdoors until late evening. Fishing is available on the West Dart River.
