The Smugglers Rest

Welcome to The Smugglers Rest, a newly-opened bed and breakfast in the pretty seaside village of Mortehoe, less than a mile from Woolacombe in North Devon. Dating back to the 1800s, owners Stacey and Will have lovingly restored this old building to offer stylish guest rooms and an on-site cafe.

There are 8 boutique-style bedrooms comprising Double, King-sized and Superior Suites. Each room offers their own character, décor and name. All our rooms have en suite facilities (bath or shower), flat screen TV, free Wifi and a beverage tray for making refreshments.

Miss Fea’s Cafe offers great home-made food for breakfast or lunch and we also serve a delicious Devon Cream Tea. There are options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets too. Freshly ground coffee, a range of teas and fresh fruit juices are coupled with a range of craft beers, wines and spirits.
