Rockford Lodge

Rockford Lodge is a charming self-catering country cottage on the banks of the East Lyn River near the village of Brendon. Nestled in a secluded setting across a footbridge, with beautiful gardens and direct access to the surrounding moorland, the cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists or wildlife enthusiasts. Rockford can sleep 6 people in its 3 bedrooms.

Full of character, the interior has been carefully decorated with a mix of antique furnishings and modern comforts to complement the exposed wooden beams and stone walls. There is a sitting room with hand carved fireplace featuring an open fire, free Wifi and board games; a dining and TV / DVD room; a sunroom with views across the river and a farmhouse kitchen with an Aga.

There is a seating area and barbecue in the private garden. There is also car parking at the end of the private road accessed by the ford. You can enjoy fishing along the river or hop over the bridge to the food and drink served in the welcoming inn opposite.
