Meadpool House

Meadpool House is an Edwardian country house located in the pretty village of Brendon in Exmoor National Park. Offering adults-only bed and breakfast accommodation surrounded by the beauty of the East Lyn River valley, we are a haven for travellers visiting this spectacular area. Your host Gillian will ensure you receive a warm welcome as soon as you arrive, with a plate of her home bakes to help you settle in nicely!

There are 3 guest rooms available, 2 double rooms (1 with en suite facilities and 1 with private bathroom) and a luxury double en suite room with triple aspect windows and panoramic views of Exmoor. All bedrooms have satellite TV, Wifi and beverage tray and you can relax in the guest lounge, garden or even fish along our stretch of the river. There is also private car parking.

A hearty 3-course breakfast is included in our tariffs. We use fresh local produce, including ingredients from our garden and eggs from our own hens. We also serve homemade preserves and cater for special diets. There is a friendly riverside inn a short walk away from Meadpool House.
