Catboat Cottage

Catboat Cottage is a charming old fisherman’s cottage adjacent to the slipway at Appledore. Dating back 200 years with its original wooden beams and fireplaces still intact, Catboat caters for 6 to 8 guests and has all the facilities needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday.

The interior has been decorated to a high standard, with a light and airy appearance. There is a lounge with a gas fire in the old stone fireplace, a TV, Wifi and DVD player, as well as a dining room and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, there is an en suite room with king size bed, a bedroom with a 4-poster bed and a twin room. There is also an option of adding an extra en suite bedroom downstairs. The cottage has a charming terrace garden.

Situated on the Taw and Torridge Estuary, watch the boats sailing by or participate in a host of watersports. The North Devon Maritime Museum, North Burrows Country Park and the beach at Westward Ho! are also close by. The world-famous South West Coast Path is popular with keen walkers and for sight-seeing.
