Mowbray House

Mowbray House is a small, family-owned guest house in York, located opposite the Bowls Park and Haxby Road Park, within level walking distance to the shops and attractions in the city centre. Owners Carol and Phil will ensure you receive first class hospitality and service throughout your stay.

With a 3-Star rating from Visit England, we have 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles and a family room. All have en suite facilities, double glazing, central heating, TV, free Wifi, hairdryer, ironing equipment and a beverage tray. A delicious full English or vegetarian breakfast will be served in the morning and we accommodate special diets.

There is free private car parking outside and the railway station is a 20-minute walk away. Mowbray House has plenty of tourist information available and your hosts are happy to provide suggestions about the city’s attractions and amenities.
