The Middleham

The Middleham Guest House offers home-from-home bed and breakfast accommodation in Whitby, in the West Cliff beach area with panoramic views of the Yorkshire coastline. Permit parking is available. Owners Mick and Sheila will be on hand to offer a friendly welcome and any help or advice you might need during your stay.

The guest house is set over 3 floors and we have single, twin, king-sized and a 4-poster room available, with some having sea views or seating areas. Each room is equipped with en suite facilities, free Wifi, Freeview TV, hairdryer and beverage trays. There is also a spacious guest lounge. Breakfast includes a buffet selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurts followed by a cooked breakfast or lighter bites such as poached eggs. We also cater for special diets.

The beautiful Crescent Gardens are virtually on the doorstep and we are only a few minutes from the beach. Take a short walk into the town centre, explore the old town with its narrow cobbled streets and walk the 199 steps up to St Mary’s church and Whitby Abbey. Alternatively, enjoy a drink in one of the many cafés or pubs around the harbour and watch the world go by.
