The Leeway

Welcome to The Leeway, an award-winning boutique bed and breakfast in Whitby, just a few minutes’ walk from the seafront and town centre. The Leeway has a Visit England 4-Star Gold Award rating, Green Tourism Gold Award and a Breakfast Award. Owners Gary and Karen will have homemade tea and cakes waiting for you on arrival.

There are individually-designed twin, double and super-king rooms available, all with luxurious beds, eco-friendly toiletries, bamboo towels, free Wifi, a TV, DVD player, iPod dock, Tassimo Machine and well-stocked beverage tray for refreshments. Breakfast includes a Leeway Grill with all the trimmings, vegetarian breakfast, fish option or choice of lighter bites. We use fresh local ingredients and happily cater for special diets.

There is on-street permit parking available and once parked, with our central location, you can leave the car in your spot and access all the sights on foot! Popular attractions include West Cliff Beach, Lifeboat Museum, The Dracula Experience, 199 Steps, Whitby Abbey, Captain Cook Memorial Museum and many more.
