Egton Cottage

Egton Cottage is set on a hillside overlooking the River Esk, offering self-catering accommodation for adults only, with panoramic views towards Whitby on the coast and inland towards the North York Moors. The village of Ruswarp is just along the river and Whitby is 2 miles away.

The cottage is a single storey ground floor property with beautiful beamed ceilings. The open plan living area has sofas, TV, electric fire, dining table and fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and gas hob. There is a double bedroom, a shower room and private courtyard outside. Off-road car parking is available and there is a railway station in the village nearby.

The fishing port of Whitby is 2 miles away where you can climb the 199 steps to atmospheric Whitby Abbey, find out about Captain Cook or relax on the beach. There are numerous restaurants catering for all tastes, with friendly pubs and independent shops aplenty. The North York Moors provide excellent walks and cycling opportunities with many places to go fishing.
